What is your tenant screening process?
All prospective tenants must apply on the website and the application fee is $75.00 per adult. All applicants over the age of 18 must apply. A nationwide background check and eviction database screenings are completed to look at criminal backgrounds. To ensure you qualify financially we review the credit report, verify employment, and review pay stubs and/or tax returns. Rental history is verified by your previous two landlords. Valid government photo identification is required with application submission. -
Do you allow pets?
If the owner of the rental property allows pets the applicants will be required to complete the Pet-Screening Online Application and application fees: $20.00 (non-refundable) for your 1st pet and $10.00 (non-refundable) for each additional pet. No application fees for service animals and pet affidavits. If pet is approved there will be an additional NON-REFUNDABLE pet fee. -
Is Renters Insurance Required?
Tenants will be required to obtain and maintain renters insurance until the end of the tenancy. A copy of the declaration page is required within 15 days after signing the lease and Carolinas Signature Property Management, LLC must be listed as an additional interested party. The tenant(s) may determine the amount of coverage for damages and loss of personal property but the policy shall include coverage for bodily injury, and property damage for which tenant may be liable in the amount of $100,000. -
How do I pay rent?
Tenants will receive an email to set up their online tenant portal. You can make online payments and fees are determined based on method of payment.
